Kinstellar, Linklaters and Molinari join forces to advise on the strategic bancassurance partnership of Generali and UniCredit in Central and Eastern Europe

May 2018 – Kinstellar, Linklaters and Molinari have advised Generali CEE Holding B.V. and UniCredit S.p.A. on the completion of a strategic bancassurance agreement in CEE.

Kinstellar, acting at the local level, was represented by the following teams: the Czech Republic - Counsel Martina Březinová and Tomáš Čihula with support from Senior Associate Pavla Krsková; Serbia - Partner Branislav Marić was supported by Managing Associate Dragana Bajić; Romania - Partner Iustinian Captariu was supported by Counsel Zsuzsa Csiki and Senior Associate Mihai Coada; Hungary - Partners Csilla Andrékó and Péter Vörös were supported by Counsel Ákos Mátés-Lányi; Slovakia - Partner Adam Hodoň was supported by Senior Associate Tomáš Melišek; and in Bulgaria - Counsel Svilen Issaev and Of Counsel Dessislava Fessenko were supported by Associate Stiliyana Ivanova and Junior Associate Kamen Chanov.

Linklaters’ team was headed by Partner Pietro Belloni and supported by Associate Carolina Gattai, in Milan.

Barclays Bank plc acted as the exclusive financial adviser for Generali CEE Holding.

UniCredit was advised by Molinari e Associati, with a team headed by Partner Nicolò Juvara, supported by Of Counsel Daniela Runggaldier and Associate Stefano Cova and, at the local level, by Schonherr with a team headed by Partner Robert Bachner, supported by Associates Clemens Rainer and Clemens Gaugush who coordinated Schoenherr’s nine offices in the region.
