Kinstellar advises on the sale of global IT company Comparex AG to SoftwareONE, a global technology provider
October 2018 – Kinstellar, together with Linklaters and bpv Hügel, has successfully advised on the sale of Comparex AG, a global IT company, to SoftwareONE, a leading global platform, solutions and services company. The terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
Kinstellar advised the seller on the implications of the transaction in Bulgaria, Kazakhstan and Serbia.

COMPAREX AG is an IT company with 2,450 employees worldwide at more than 80 locations in 36 countries in Europe, Asia and North America, with sales of EUR 2.5 billion in fiscal year 2017/18.
SoftwareONE is a global provider of software and cloud portfolio management solutions. The company, which has been privately owned since 1985 and is now partially owned by global investment firm KKR, employs around 3,000 people in 80 countries.
With this transaction, SoftwareONE and COMPAREX will together form one of the leading global platform, solutions and services companies with projected annual turnover of EUR 10 billion. Customers will benefit from the combined company’s expanded scale, with locations and local-language teams in 88 countries and support across 150 countries.
