Kinstellar advises on another large hotel transaction in the Czech Republic
March 2019 – Kinstellar has successfully advised Mornington Capital on the sale of The Don Giovanni Hotel in Prague to Wenaasgruppen, a Norwegian family-owned fund. The price has not been disclosed, however it is the second largest transaction in the hospitality sector completed this year in the Czech Republic, following Prague’s InterContinental Hotel.
The hotel has 412 guest rooms and 30 conference rooms with seating for 2,000 people. Construction work on the hotel began in 1993 and the official opening was in the spring of 1995.
The Kinstellar team was led by Klára Štěpánková (Partner and head of the firm-wide real estate sector) and Jan Juroška (Partner). The team also included Kristýna Del Maschio and Michal Matouš (both Junior Associates).
