📢 🇷🇴 #Romania is set to organize its first #CfD (contracts for difference) #auction in the next few weeks 🚩 ⚡ The Ministry of #Energy has officially launched the process and issued Order no. 1290/2024, approving the launch of the auction, as well as the rules of the procedure. Among others, the order outlines the details of the auction: 👉 1,500 MW total targeted capacity: 1,000 MW from onshore #wind 💨 and 500 MW from #photovoltaic sources ☀️ 👉 maximum strike prices: EUR 82/MWh for onshore wind 💨 and EUR 78/MWh for photovoltaic sources ☀️ 📅 The full timeline for the auction will soon be available on the websites of the Ministry of Energy and the CfD operator, Transelectrica S.A. 🏢 It will include, among others, information on: clarification periods, deadline for submission of applications, evaluation process of technical offers, timeline for contestations, selection of financial offers, estimated signing date for CfD contracts. 🆕 📅 Update: The calendar for the first auction under the CfD scheme was published on the website of the Ministry of Energy.
