Ukraine simplifies import/export of military and dual-use goods

The Ukrainian government has simplified the procedure for obtaining permits and conclusions for international transfers of military and dual-use goods under international treaties with Ukraine. The relevant changes were introduced by Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 6, dated 07 January 2026, and come into effect immediately from 8 January 2026.  When does the simplified procedure apply? Kinstellar and DataDriven provide an overview of demining industry regulations in Ukraine

Kinstellar, in collaboration with DataDriven, provides regulatory guidance for companies entering Ukraine’s demining industry. Against the backdrop of Russia’s war, Ukraine has become the most heavily mined country in the world, with demining efforts estimated by the World Bank to require approximately USD 38 billion. Ukraine leaps forward in its cannabis policy

A cannabis law passed by the Ukrainian parliament back in December of last year, will come into force on 16 August 2024. Developed in compliance with EU regulations, the law represents a significant overhaul of cannabis regulations in Ukraine. Secondary cannabis-related legislation is expected to be drafted by the Ukrainian government by the end of May 2024. New Frequency Allocation Plan and Licensing Conditions come into force in Ukraine

The Plan for the Allocation and Use of the Radio Frequency Spectrum of Ukraine (the "Plan") and Conditions of Licencing for the Use of the ‘L02’ Radio Frequency Spectrum (the "Licensing Conditions") have recently come into force in Ukraine. The Plan and Licensing Conditions are developed in compliance with Ukraine’s existing undertaking to bring its legislation into line with applicable EU regulations. Specifics of ultimate beneficiary owners filings in Ukraine

The requirement to file information on the ultimate beneficial owners (UBOs) of legal entities was introduced by the Law of Ukraine "On Prevention and Counteraction of Legalization (Laundering) of Criminal Proceeds, Financing of Terrorism and Financing of the Proliferation of Mass Destruction Weapons" dated 06.12.2019 No. 361-IX.
