June 2013 - Kamil Blažek, a Kinstellar Prague Partner who also heads the Czech Association for Foreign Investment (AFI – a private-to-public Czech NGO) participated in the Korea Overseas Investment Fair 2013 (KOIF) in Seoul.
Korea is the Czech Republic's third largest trade partner outside the EU, and over the past decade, many significant Korean investments have come to the Czech Republic. Kinstellar has played a major role in this trend.
At KOIF, Kinstellar co-organised (with AFI, CzechInvest, KPMG and the industrial developer CTP) the "Invest in Europe via Czech Republic" seminar.
"It is evident that Korean investors continue to be strongly interested in the Czech Republic. We rely on the strategic location of the country and aim to be a gateway for Korean investments in Central and Eastern Europe. Apart from the fact that it already has a strong Korean business community, the Czech Republic enjoys a strong financial position, the highest proportion of industry per capita in Europe and a competitively placed labour force. We registered a strong interest among Koreans in investing in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Turkey, and see potential for joint projects between Czech and Korean companies in certain third markets", says Kamil Blažek.
