April 2015 - Kinstellar hosted a high-level energy seminar in Sofia on 29 April focusing on the launch of the Bulgarian Power Exchange. Over 110 participants representing the key stakeholders of the Bulgarian energy market were in attendance, including state bodies, major industrial companies, banks and financial institutions, and energy traders and producers.
Keynote speakers at the event, who shared with the audience their regional and local insights, included: Ivan Ivanov, Chairman of the Bulgarian Electricity and Water Regulatory Commission (EWRC); Evgenia Haritonova, a member of EWRC; Zsolt Bertalan, CEO of the Hungarian Power Exchange; Konstantin Delisivkov, Executive Director of the Bulgarian Federation of Industrial Energy Consumers; Kristof Ferenczi, Head of Kinstellar’s firm-wide Energy practice; Kamil Blazek, Partner at Kinstellar Prague, and Diana Dimova, Partner at Kinstellar Sofia.
The launch of the Bulgarian Energy Exchange was described by some of the participants as “the hottest energy topic” in Bulgaria in 2015. The seminar received significant media coverage by major business and industry-specific media outlets.
