Balázs Tomaj is an Of Counsel in the Budapest office and a member of the energy sector team.

His practice covers all areas of energy law, including acquisitions and disposals, restructuring, general corporate advice, regulatory, compliance, and dispute resolution matters.

Balázs has recently advised the Hungarian National Asset Management Company (MNV) and the Hungarian Development Bank (MFB) on various transactions including: the acquisition of 100% shareholding in E.ON Foldgáz Trade and E.ON Földgáz Storage by MVM, the acquisition of Főgáz from RWE Gas International by MVM, and the acquisition of 51% shareholding in MMBF from MOL by MFB.
