Nikola Šurjanac is an Associate in the Belgrade office, specializing in data protection, privacy and regulatory compliance.

He advises domestic and international clients on the application of the EU GDPR and Serbian and Montenegrin data protection laws. Nikola assists in developing compliance frameworks, drafting and reviewing privacy documentation, and managing data mapping and cross-border transfers to ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to best practices.

Nikola's focus further extends to competition matters advising clients on regulatory compliance and strategic decision-making in complex competition law matters.

He has also gained experience in dispute resolution, representing clients before courts and other competent authorities in litigation and arbitration proceedings, as well as enforcement, insolvency and reorganisation cases.
