Anita Borisova is a Managing Associate in the Sofia office. She focuses on employment and labour law, data privacy and corporate and commercial law.

Anita has professional experience as both external counsel to multinational companies and an in-house legal & compliance manager. 

She has extensive data privacy expertise, part of which gained in-house at a global provider of HR/recruitment solutions. She advised on GDPR and corporate integrity & compliance implementation programmes. Anita is a Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP/E).

Anita has significant professional experience in a wide range of employment and HR aspects, such as: employment law structures of business setup, employment terminations, work with HR agencies, TUPE, employment litigation, developing and conducting training for HR teams etc.

In the area of corporate and commercial law, Anita assists with contract negotiations and due diligence reports and has advised companies, including startups, in a variety of sectors on the compliant implementation of new processes and activities during their setup.
