Kinstellar assists Romanian start-up ProductLead (Techinfluence) to secure financing for expansion across Europe
April 2021 – Kinstellar is pleased to announce that it has successfully assisted Bucharest-based ProductLead (Techinfluence), a leading mar-tech platform for marketing content creation, in relation to securing venture capital financing from co-investors Sparking Capital (lead investor), Eleven Ventures and Founders Bridge. This is the second round of investment carried out by Sparking Capital for ProductLead.
Sparking Capital (Romania), Eleven Ventures (Bulgaria) and Founders Bridge (Sweden) back entrepreneurs with unique industry insights and target investments in forward-thinking start-ups with potential to scale at the international level.
ProductLead helps companies adapt their advertising campaigns by leveraging user-generated content and activating social media influencers through automated tools. The raised capital will enable ProductLead to strengthen its partnerships with major players in ecommerce, marketplace, and tech marketing tools and speed up its development process by entering foreign markets (particular the CEE, DACH and Nordic regions). This will consolidate the company’s reputation for its next targeted investment round.
Kinstellar’s team in Bucharest was led by Răzvan Popa, Partner and Head of the local M&A and Technology, Media and Telecommunications practices.
Răzvan Popa comments: “Romania is on top of the list when it comes to local start-ups that scale at the international level, and we are proud to have worked on such an innovative mandate. By concluding this investment we are helping our client to fulfil their most ambitious plans. This highlights once again our local team’s strength when it comes to M&A in the tech sector.”
