Kinstellar advises thredUp on its European expansion with the acquisition of Remix Global
August 2021 – Kinstellar’s M&A team in Sofia has successfully supported thredUp in reaching a definitive agreement to acquire Remix Global. One of the largest online resale platforms will acquire one of Europe's leading fashion resale companies for approximately US$28.5 million, subject to customary purchase price adjustments.
Tapping into the potential of Europe’s secondhand market, U.S. based thredUp jumpstarts its expansion in Europe, adding a complementary operational infrastructure and an experienced management team. The acquisition is expected to close during the fourth quarter of 2021 subject to closing conditions.
