Partner Kristóf Ferenczi speaks at Energy Week Uzbekistan 2019
September 2019 ─ Kristóf Ferenczi, Partner and Head of Kinstellar’s firm-wide Energy practice, participated in Energy Week Uzbekistan 2019, which took place in Tashkent, between 25 – 27 September.
Energy Week Uzbekistan aims to provide insights into Uzbekistan’s fast-developing energy sector and the large projects underway in the country. During this year’s three-day programme, the prominent annual event gathered together 40 high-profile speakers and over 300 participants from 14 countries.
Kristóf was part of the event’s opening session: “Government strategies and initiatives for attracting foreign investments to further develop Uzbekistan’s power sector.” His presentation focused on the European experience setting the framework for renewable energy projects and the lessons that can be learned to develop Uzbekistan’s renewable energy sector.
Kristóf also moderated the session “Energy efficiency, environmental protection and RES projects'' and joined in the discussion with government officials and representatives of energy companies in Central Asia.
