Kinstellar advises PORTIVA on Ivančice retail centre acquisition

January 2020 – Kinstellar has acted as legal counsel to PORTIVA in connection with the acquisition of a retail centre in Ivančice, South Moravia, Czech Republic. The centre boasts a sales area of 5,000 m2, while long-standing tenants include the clothing stores Takko and Pepco, drugstore DM, sporting goods store Sportisimo as well as footwear store Deichmann.

PORTIVA acquired the centre from Austrian developer Aventin for roughly CZK 250 million. The acquisition is part of a bundle of shopping parks that PORTIVA and its partners will acquire over the next few years. The total transaction will likely exceed CZK 2 billion.

PORTIVA is a Czech investment group that was formed in 2018 by a consolidation of assets and equity of the group’s shareholders in the fields of energy and real estate.

The Kinstellar team was led by Jan Juroška (Partner) and included Martina Mazůrková (Associate) and Sabina Skoumalová (Junior Associate).
