Kinstellar advises Slovak company EcoCocon on asset deal with Lithuanian UAB EcoCocon
June 2019 – Kinstellar has recently advised the newly established Slovak company EcoCocon and its founder on the acquisition of a portfolio of assets with the Lithuanian company UAB EcoCocon. Details of the deal are not disclosed. Kinstellar’s legal representation included negotiating contractual terms for the transaction on behalf of the client.
UAB EcoCocon produces ecologically sustainable straw panels and modular building systems to create healthy housing and insulation solutions. Their bespoke straw panels have received Passive House and Cradle to Cradle certification.
With regard to the transaction, the investor and majority shareholder of EcoCocon, Petra Régnacq Trnková, comments: “The transaction went very smoothly thanks to the high-level competence on the side of Kinstellar. They handled unexpected requests and situations with calm and a high degree of professionalism. We especially appreciated their “can-do” attitude, which made the cooperation a very pleasant one.”
While other investments of the Trnka family are mainly aimed at supporting technology startups, this acquisition seeks to make a positive ecological impact with regard to the climate crisis.
