Nick Eastwell is a London based consultant focusing solely on Emerging Europe. He established and was regional managing partner of Linklaters' network of offices in Central and Eastern Europe from 1999 through 2003, and between May 2003 and May 2008 was global head of Linklaters' Capital Markets Department. He then established Linklaters' new Emerging Europe, Middle East and North Africa regional desk in May 2008 and was the regional managing partner through to May 2009. Nick retired from Linklaters after more than 20 years as a partner on 31 October, 2009. He has been a specialist in finance and capital markets law for nearly 30 years, has advised on transactions in more than 60 cities in all six continents and has advised most of the world's major financial institutions and a number of governments, regulatory bodies and stock exchanges.
