Belgrade - Serbia

Belgrade is the economic centre of the former Yugoslavia and the geographical centre of the Western Balkans. Political stability, together with the legal and regulatory developments that accompany Serbia’s progress towards membership of the WTO in the short term and the EU in the longer term and a favourable corporate taxation regime, have made Serbia an attractive investment opportunity for a wide variety of businesses.

From the airport:

A taxi from the airport takes around 30-45 minutes depending on the time of day. The fare should be no more than RSD 1500 (EUR 15) although at weekends or late at night, fares will often be higher. You should agree the fee before getting into the taxi.
