Kinstellar in the BBJ’s Book of Lists
Budapest, April 2009 – Kinstellar’s Budapest office was featured in the spring 2009 edition of the Budapest Business Journal’s “Book of Lists”. The article introduces Kinstellar as a new firm following the spin-off of the Budapest, Bucharest, Bratislava and Prague offices from the London-based international law firm Linklaters in November 2008.
Csilla Andreko, Managing Partner of Kinstellar’s Budapest office, explains the background to the spin-off decision and highlights Kinstellar’s strengths as an independent premium law firm focused on the markets of Emerging Europe. She describes how expansion is a core part of Kinstellar’s strategy to provide seamless, top-quality service across the Emerging Europe region, and at that time mentions Serbia and Turkey as among potential new markets for expansion (Kinstellar opened new offices in Serbia and Istanbul in 2010).
Although the launch of Kinstellar unexpectedly occurred with the worsening effects of the global financial crisis in CEE countries, Andreko explains that the timing also presents Kinstellar with unique opportunities to serve existing clients and to win new clients that require top-quality legal service in Emerging Europe.
